Michael Matsui is a write/director/editor from Northern California and founder of Blue Canyon Film. Michael has produced video content for reputable brands such as Get Axed, Uscape Apparel, FreshFin Poke, and Kids Care Orthodontics. Beginning filmmaking at the age of 12 years old, Michael began taking paid work at the age of 16 until he joined the US Marine Corps for which he served honorably. After departing the military, Michael returned to his roots and ultimately established Blue Canyon to offer a variety of filmmaking services while simultaneously pursuing narrative filmmaking.
